Parent Participation in the Classroom
Parents will be required to volunteer in the classroom approximately every three to five weeks depending on class size. If a parent cannot volunteer due to work/school schedule, a friend, family member or babysitter may fill in as long as they have a criminal background check complete prior to volunteering.
Other children, family members and friends are not allowed to accompany parents on volunteer days. It is distracting to both your child and the other children in the classroom. Alternative arrangements will need to be made for other children in your care on the days you volunteer. Many parents within the coop work out babysitting swapping schedules so all can have a chance to participate in the classroom.
