Explorers Enrollment
Registration
In each registration period, students who are currently participating or have been an Explorer in the past have the opportunityto complete advance registration. After one week, registration is open to the general public.
Fall Term Registration
August 1-7: Explorers and Field Station alumni
August 8: open to the general public
Winter Term Registration
November 7-13: returning fall term Explorers
November 14: open to the general public
Spring Term Registration
February 6-12: returning winder term Explorers
February 13: open to the general public
Please follow this simple three-step process to get your child registered in Explorers:
Step One:
Contact the Explorers Chairperson. Your child's name will be placed on a list to receive an email reminder prior to upcoming registration dates. You'll need to provide the chair with your child's name, birthday and phone/email contact information. If you do not receive an email reminder, please be sure to check the website for registration information.
Step Two:
Mail the following to the school:
Tuition check (no cash, please) made out to "Field Station Cooperative." Write "for deposit only" on the back
of your check where you would endorse it.
Explorers Application & Medical Form - you'll only need to submit this 2-page form. No other forms are required.
If mailing to the school: Write "Explorers" somewhere on your envelope so we can identify where to direct the
mail. If dropping off at the school you'll need to drop payments and paperwork in the Explorers mailbox. Be sure
to contact the school or Explorers chair prior to dropping off forms to make sure the school is open.
Step Three:
Check email for your child's class status. Spaces will be given in order of registration materials received. Once applications and payments are received, families will be contacted about their child's class enrollment status. It's a first-come/first-serve registration, so please submit required paperwork and payments so they arrive at the beginning of your child's registration period. If you don't receive a confirmation, be sure to contact the Explorer's Chairperson.
Tuition
10 classes $15.00/class = $150.00
monthly installment plan may be arranged upon request
